Setting User Options Overview Portions of the Magellan CrossoverGPS are customizable to your needs. To access the User Options menu, select Options from page 2 of the Main Menu and select the option you want to change. POI Selection In POI Selection you can select which POI icons will be displayed on the Map screen Check the POI category name to select or deselect it. POI's with an "X" will be displayed on the screen. Use 'Mark All' or 'Clear All' for global selections. NOTE - Marine and Outdoor use: When you have added maps using Magellan BlueNav or Magellan MapSend Topo the POI category list will be created from the categories supplied on the optional maps. With no accessory map installed, the POI list will be empty for marine and contain the vehicle navigation POI list for outdoor. Address Book Options (Waypoint Options in Marine and Outdoor) This option provides a way to quickly clear addresses from your address book. Clear Addresses clears all of the addresses in your address book. Clear Favorites clears the addresses marked as favorites from your address book. Clear Previous clears the previous destinations list. Active Track Options (Marine and Outdoor only) Track is a recording of your journey on land or water. Active Track Options sets some of the parameters for the active track. Continue Track on Application Start: You can set the track to continue from the last track point set automatically (Yes), have a new track started and the old track deleted every time you start (Reset), or set it to ask you if you want to continue the track every time you start the outdoor/marine application (Ask). When track is full: When the track memory is full you can set the Magellan CrossoverGPS to keep adding new track points to the end of the track and delete Setting User Options 40

Setting User Options
Overview
Portions of the Magellan CrossoverGPS are customizable to your needs. To access the
User Options menu, select
Options
from page 2 of the Main Menu and select the option
you want to change.
POI Selection
In POI Selection you can select which POI icons will be displayed on the Map screen
Check the POI category name to select or deselect it.
POI’s with an “X” will be
displayed on the screen. Use ‘Mark All’ or ‘Clear All’ for global selections.
NOTE - Marine and Outdoor use:
When you have added maps using Magellan
BlueNav or Magellan MapSend Topo the POI category list will be created from the
categories supplied on the optional maps.
With no accessory map installed, the
POI list will be empty for marine and contain the vehicle navigation POI list for
outdoor.
Address Book Options (Waypoint Options in Marine and Outdoor)
This option provides a way to quickly clear addresses from your address book.
Clear Addresses
