4. The Magellan Maestro receiver recalculates the route and the Map screen returns. Volume The volume can be adjusted or muted from the Map screen. (The volume can also be adjusted from Settings > Sound.) Changing the Volume from the Map Screen 1. Tap the speaker icon . Additional controls appear. 2. Tap on the Mute button to mute the volume, or tap the '+' or '-' icons to change the volume levels. 3. Tap . Voice Recognition Before giving voice control commands to the Magellan Maestro, you must first access the "Say a Command" screen. See the chapter on Voice Control for information on its use. Accessing Voice Recognition 1. Tap the voice control button . The Say a Command screen appears waiting for voice commands. Note that if you have turned off Voice Recognition from the Settings menu, the voice control button is not displayed. 14
