You can change the language only if multiple languages are available on the DVD. 1 Press AUDIO during playback so the audio display appears at the top of the TV screen. Press AUDIO repeatedly until you select your desired language. AUDIO STEREO Both right and left channels are active (stereo). AUDIO L-CH Only the left channel is active. AUDIO R-CH Only the right channel is active. POWER REPEAT A-B OPEN/ CLOSE DISPLAY SKIP PAUSE 1 2 4 5 7 8 CLEAR 0 AUDIO 3 SUBTITLE 6 ANGLE 9 SEARCH MODE +10 1 Helpful Hints • If a desired language is not available after pressing AUDIO several times, the DVD does not have that language. • The display will disappear after about five seconds. • Some DVDs only allow you to change the language in the Disc menu. • If you are using the COAXIAL jack, changing the sound mode is not applicable. Details are on pages 11 and 13. • For some Audio languages, three dashes (- - -) may appear instead of a three-letter abbreviation for the language (ENG, FRE, etc.).
