You may select only the subtitles that are available on the Disc. 1 Press SUBTITLE repeatedly to select a subtitle language. The subtitle display will appear at the top of the TV screen. The number of available languages appears at the right of the audio display. In this example, six languages are available (1/6). The display will disappear after about five seconds. SUBTITLE 1.ENG/6 Press SUBTITLE. SUBTITLE 2.FRE/6 Press SUBTITLE to select another language. Helpful Hints • With some DVDs, you may select a subtitle language only in the Disc menu. • If the desired language does not appear after pressing the SUBTITLE button several times, the Disc does not have subtitles in that language. • The subtitles may be delayed for a few seconds. • For some Subtitle languages, three dashes (- - -) may appear instead of a three-letter abbreviation for the language (ENG, FRE, etc.).
