SURROUND MODE ENTER nnEnabling the remote sensor function 1 To disable the remote signal sensor function, press and hold SURROUND MODE and STATUS for 3 seconds. "IR:< DISABLE >" is displayed. 2 Press o p to select "ENABLE". Switching the on-screen display output mode Set whether the menu is operated by the monitor connected to the VIDEO OUT terminal or the monitor connected to the COMPONENT VIDEO MONITOR OUT terminal. • The factory setting is "Comp". ENTER PURE DIRECT o p STATUS nnDisabling the sensor function of the remote control 1 To enable the remote signal sensor function, press and hold SURROUND MODE and STATUS for 3 seconds. The sensor function of the remote control signal of this unit is enabled. NOTE If a remote control receiver unit (purchased separately) is not connected, do not perform this setting. If you do, you will not be able to operate this unit using the remote control. u i STATUS 1 Press and hold STATUS and PURE DIRECT for 3 seconds. Corresponding to the video signal format settings, "OSD Out: 0 Comp 1" or "OSD Out: 0Video 1" is shown in the display. 2 Press u i to change the settings according to the connection method. Comp S et when the COMPONENT VIDEO MONITOR OUT connector is connected to a TV. Video S et when the VIDEO OUT connector is connected to a TV. 3 Press ENTER to enter the setting. NOTE When operating the on-screen display menu using the monitor connected to the HDMI OUT terminal, either setting may be used without problem. 54

Remote control settings
• When you connect a remote control receiver unit (purchased
separately) to the REMOTE CONTROL IN terminal of this unit, use
the following procedure to disable the remote sensor function of
this unit.
• The remote sensor function of remote control signals is enabled by
default.

VIDEO OUT terminal or the monitor connected to the COMPONENT
VIDEO MONITOR OUT terminal.
• The factory setting is “Comp”.
