REMOTE CONTROL UNIT RC7000SR This chapter describes the functions which need to control the SR7000. See page 18 and following pages to refer other function of the RC7000SR. 4 POWER ON and OFF buttons These two buttons are use for turning on or off SR7000. n Jog Dial Rotate this dial to select commands displayed on the LCD for each tunction. FEI Function buttons Press one of these buttons twice within 2 seconds to select the input function of SR7000. Press one of these buttons once to change the state of remote commander. 191 VOLUME A, up / V down buttons These buttons are used to raise and lower the SR7000's volume level. to CURSOR buttons The cursor buttons can be used to navigate within on-screen menus of SR7000. F3 MUTE button This buttoh can be used to mute the sound temporarily. O CLEAR button This button is used to cancel certain memory or programming operations. A MEMO button This button is used to enter the tuner preset memory numbers and station names. TEN KEYPAD They are useful for tuning a pre-set radio station and setting a station name. OPERATION OF REMOTE CONTROL UNIT 1. Remote control The distance between the transmitter of the remote control unit and the IR SENSOR of the SR7000 should be less than about 5 meters. If the transmitter is pointed to a direction other than the IR SENSOR or if there is an obstacle between them, remote control may not be possible. Also be sure to replace batteries earlier when you notice that they are getting weak. (1) Remove the back cover.
