GET THE MAYTAGTM APP AND GET CONNECTED With your mobile device download the Maytag™ app. You can get subscription and connectivity instructions, terms or use, and privacy policy at www.maytag.com/connect or in Canada www.maytag.ca/connect. Once installed, launch the app and you will be guided through the steps to subscribe and create your user account to connect to your appliance. If you have any problems or questions, call Maytag® Connected Appliances at 1-866-333-4591. 1 CONNECTING UNIT TO INTERNET 2 ALLOWING REMOTE CONTROL AND INTERACTION When unit is first powered on, it will prompt to select language before they see message to Download APP or press any other key to setup WiFi later. To connect your unit to the internet please download the MaytagTM app and press REMOTE ENABLE. You must press REMOTE ENABLE when connected in order to allow remote control and interaction. USING YOUR DRYER WARNING WARNING Fire Hazard No washer can completely remove oil. Do not dry anything that has ever had any type of oil on it (including cooking oils). Items containing foam, rubber, or plastic must be dried on a clothesline or by using an Air Cycle. Failure to follow these instructions can result in death or fire. Explosion Hazard Keep flammable materials and vapors, such as gasoline, away from dryer. Do not dry anything that has ever had anything flammable on it (even after washing). Failure to follow these instructions can result in death, explosion, or fire. 1 CLEAN LINT SCREEN 2 LOAD DRYER 3 PRESS POWER TO TURN ON THE DRYER 4 SELECT THE DESIRED CYCLE FOR YOUR LOAD* Clean the lint screen before each load. Also, clean the exhaust vent at least every 2 years. 5 ADJUST CYCLE SETTINGS, IF DESIRED* 6 SELECT ANY ADDITIONAL OPTIONS* 7 SET UP FOR REMOTE ENABLE, IF DESIRED 8 TOUCH AND HOLD START/PAUSE TO BEGIN CYCLE If you accidentally select wrong language during digital un-boxing and/or you want to get back to Factory settings then perform Factory Reset. FACTORY RESET Press/hold both TEMP and WRINKLE PREVENT keys until display count-down has completed. Unit will power back on with "Select Language" display message. *NOTE: See "Cycle Guide" for more information about cycles, settings, and options.
