Temperature Guide Wash Temp Suggested Fabrics HOT Whites and pastels Heavy soils WARM Bright colors Moderate to light soils COLD Colors that bleed or fade Light soils In wash water temperatures colder than 60°F (15.6°C), detergents do not dissolve well. Soils may be difficult to remove. Controlled Temperature Warm and cold wash temperatures are sensed and maintained by regulating the amount of hot and cold water from your faucet. This provided excellent cleaning while saving energy. ATC (Auto Temp Control) electronically senses and maintains a uniform water temperature. ATC regulates incoming hot and cold water. ■ Cold rinse is not controlled and will be the same as your cold faucet. Spin Speed Each cycle has a preset spin speed. To change the spin speed, press the SPIN SPEED button until the desired setting is illuminated. Cycle Signal This signal is helpful when you are removing items from the washer as soon as it stops. Press Cycle Signal button Signal On or Signal Off. Prewash Use this option for loads of heavily soiled items that need pretreatment. ■ Add detergent to Main Wash compartment of the dispenser drawer. ■ This option adds tumbling time prior to the selected main cycle. The washer continues automatically from prewash into the main wash cycle. Stain Treat Use this option for heavily soiled loads that need improved stain treatment. When Stain Treat is selected, the water temperature of the selected wash cycle is automatically set to warm and provides additional time of medium and high speed tumbling.
