CYCLE GUIDE Settings and options shown in bold are default settings for that cycle. For best fabric care, choose the cycle that best fits the load being washed. Not all cycles and options are available on all models. This cycle combines high-speed wash action and high-speed spin speed. For maximum soil and stain removal, use the liquid chlorine bleach dispenser for liquid chlorine bleach or color-safe bleach. This cycle can also be used for sturdy color fabrics, such as towels without liquid chlorine bleach. This cycle uses more water to flush out allergens, such as dust mites or pet dander, from normally soiled garments. This cycle removes more than 95% of allergens. Use Rinse/Drain & Spin with the Extra Rinse option turned on to get a deep rinse followed by a high-speed spin. The time display will include an estimate of how long it will take to fill and drain the washer. Use Rinse/Drain & Spin to remove excess water from the load by choosing Rinse/ Drain & Spin and turning off Extra Rinse. This cycle may help shorten drying times for some heavy fabrics or special-care items. Spin speed can be set to a lower setting. Rinse/Drain & Spin may also be used for draining the washer after canceling a cycle or completing a cycle after a power failure. Use this cycle every 30 washes to keep the inside of your washer fresh and clean. This cycle uses a higher water level. Use with affresh® Washer Cleaner tablet or liquid chlorine bleach to thoroughly clean the inside of your washer. This cycle should not be interrupted. See "Washer Care." IMPORTANT: Do not place garments or other items in the washer during the Clean Washer with affresh® cycle. Use this cycle with an empty wash tub. * Wash temperatures vary according to the chosen cycle setting. All cycle settings use a cold rinse temperature. *** Not all models default to the same Soil Level setting. Some models will default to Heavy on this cycle. 7
