When your phone displays VR Loading Complete, you can start using voice instructions. If your phone indicates that loading failed, try again to load the voice recognition application. Using Voice Recognition After loading the voice recognition application on your phone, press and hold the VR key on the right side of your phone until the phone sounds an alert tone. Speak a voice instruction as described below, then release the VR key to perform the corresponding function. The voice instruction function operates in 2 modes: name/instruction mode, and digit mode. The default operating mode is name/instruction. When you speak the command "Open Digit Dial" or "Open Dial Pad," your phone switches to digit mode so you can speak the phone number you want to dial. Note: Your phone remains in digit mode for a few seconds after each number recognition, and then automatically returns to name/instruction mode. Note: VR can also be used to open applications (Home Page, Open Setup, Open Camera, Open Email).
