Do This 4 Enter the following: Account name - Enter a name for this account. Connection type - Select the type of network this account uses to connect to the Internet. Your service provider supplies this information. 5 Tap Advanced. 6 On the Server tab, enter the following: User name and password - Usually, you do not have to enter these when you connect to the Internet. However, some service providers may require you to enter them. Address - Enter the Internet address of your account. Your service provider supplies this address. 7 On the Log in tab, check the Get IP address automatically and Get DNS address automatically boxes. The handset will automatically retrieve the IP and DNS addresses from your service provider. If, after you set up an Internet account, you cannot connect to the Internet and you suspect these addresses are incorrect, ask your service provider for their IP and DNS addresses.
