C115.CG.book Page 66 Friday, June 25, 2004 3:23 PM Problem I cannot make/ answer calls. My phone has poor reception and drops calls. I cannot hear others on my phone. I cannot open my inbox. How do I see the calls I sent or received? Solution Make sure that you have a phone signal. Avoid electrical or radio interference, and obstructions such as bridges, car parks, or tall buildings. Your phone may also have the Call Barring feature turned on. If you know the unlock code, you can change this setting in the security menu. > 6HWWLQJV > 6HFXULW\. Also, check and make sure your SIM card is inserted and working. Make sure you have a phone signal. Stay clear of any obstructions such as bridges, car parks, or tall buildings. While on a call, adjust the volume by scrolling with the Navigation Key to either the right (to increase) or to the left (to decrease) the phone volume in my earpiece. Also, make sure that your phone's earpiece is not blocked by its carrying case. Before you can use text or information services messages, you must set up the appropriate inbox.
