12 Chapter 3 - Installing Pre-Requisite Software Server Error in '/MSP.Web' Application The following Microsoft article describes the problem and how to correct it: How to repair IIS mapping after you remove and reinstall IIS located at http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;q306005&GSSNB=1 Installing .NET Framework 2.0 Installing .NET Framework 2.0 from the Downloaded Version If you downloaded .NET Framework 2.0 from http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=55731, use the installation instructions that come with it to install the software. Installing .NET Framework 2.0 from the Installation CD To install .NET Framework 2.0: 1. Place the Installation CD in the appropriate drive to display the Welcome to the MSP 3.2 CD Launcher dialog box (Figure 3) 2. Click Install .NET Framework 2.0. Note: You should have minimal interaction with this installation. A series of dialog boxes will appear and disappear as they complete their functions. When the final product is installed, you will be told the installation was successful. Installing Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Standard or Enterprise Editions Important: Motorola provides a batch file that can perform the following task. The file is named SetupSQLStd.bat. If you intend to use the Motorola-provided batch file, copy it from the MSP Installation CD (Prerequisite\SQLBatchFiles\SetupSQLExpress.bat) to a folder on the local hard drive (for example; C:\BatchFiles) before completing the following steps. 1. Place the Microsoft SQL Server 2005 installation CD in the appropriate CD drive. 2. Click Start > All Programs > Accessories > Command Prompt. 3. From the Command Prompt, navigate to the appropriate CD drive.
