If you are upgrading from 3.1.x, you can use UpgradeSQLEXPRESSInstanceToSQLStd.bat. If you are upgrading from 3.2, you can use UpgradeMSPInstanceToSQLStd.bat. If you intend to use the Motorola-provided batch file to upgrade your database, copy the appropriate file from the MSP Installation CD (Prerequisite\SQLBatchFiles\ [appropriate file]) to a folder on the local hard drive (for example; C:\BatchFiles) before completing the following steps. If you are installing on a VMWare image, you may need to refresh the CD drive after ejecting the MSP Installation CD in order to see the contents of the SQL CD when it is placed in the CD drive. One possible check is to perform a dir command on the CD drive before running the batch file. 5. Use the MSP Admin Tool (Figure 51) to stop all of the MSP Services. 6. Figure 51
