Auto Power Off You can program your radio to turn itself off after a certain period of inactivity. This helps save battery life. To set the automatic power off feature, press \ as needed to display O. Press [ or ] to set the number of hours 1 - 8, after which power shuts off. O 8 After you exit the menu, O displays on the screen when the automatic power off feature has been activated. Five minutes before the radio shuts off, an alert beep sounds.
