Using iTAP™ Mode iTAP software provides a predictive text entry method that lets you enter a word using 1 key press per letter. This can be faster than Tap mode, because your phone combines the key presses into common words. For example, if you press 7 7 6 4, you see the letters Program. If you want a different word (such as Progress), continue pressing keypad keys to enter the remaining characters. Entering Words 1 Press keypad keys (1 press per letter) to show possible letter combinations at the bottom of the display. 2 Scroll left or right to highlight the combination you want. 3 Press SELECT (+) to lock a highlighted combination. You can press keypad keys to add more letters to the end of the combination. or Press S up to enter the highlighted combination when it spells a word. A space is automatically inserted after the word. If you enter a word your phone does not recognize, the phone stores it to use as 1 of your word options. When you fill memory space for unrecognized words, your phone deletes the oldest words to add new words. Using Numeric Mode Press keypad keys to enter the numbers you want.
