Text entry Your phone provides convenient ways to enter text. Change character input mode 1 When you see a screen where you can enter text, press Menu / to change the character input mode. 2 Select one of the following options: input mode Alpha Word Symbols Numeric Press a key one or more times to cycle through the letters and numbers of that key. When you see the character you want, just press another key or wait a second or two to move on. Predictive text predicts the word you want, with just one keypress per letter. If the prediction is correct, press the Navigation Key right to accept the word. If the prediction is not correct, press and hold the Navigation Key down to see other options.
