Unlocking Your Phone, Changing the Lock Code, Calling in Lock Mode

Calling in Lock Mode You can place calls to 911 when in lock mode. ᮣ To call an emergency number, dial 911 and press , Locking Your Keypad When your phone is closed and in standby mode, your keypad locks to prevent accidental key presses. ᮣ To lock your keypad now, press / > Settings > Security > Keypad Lock > Lock Now. ᮣ To change how long your phone waits before it automatically locks your keypad, press / > Settings > Security > Keypad Lock > Auto Lock and select a time interval of 2 seconds, 4 seconds, 8 seconds or Off. Note If the keypad setting is set to off, your keypad will remain unlocked. Unlocking Your Keypad ᮣ To unlock your keypad, press Unlock (right softkey) and then press Yes (left softkey).
