FVG318 Status fields Field System Name Firmware Version Wireless Configuration SSID: Mode Security Settings Region Channel AP MAC Address WAN Port WAN State NAT DHCP Connection State IP Address IP Subnet Mask Gateway Primary DNS Secondary DNS DHCP MAC Address LAN Port MAC Address Description The System Name assigned to the firewall. The firewall firmware version. The wireless settings of the router The name of your wireless network. The default is NETGEAR. Shows what security has been associated with the wireless configuration. The default is none Shows the region is which the wireless gateway is operating Indicates the operating channel of the wireless radio. The MAC address of the wireless access point. These parameters apply to the Internet (WAN) port of the firewall. Indicates if the WAN port is up or down. Indicates if the router is in NAT mode (enabled) or in routing mode (disabled). The protocol on the WAN port used to obtain the WAN IP address. This field can show DHCP Client, Fixed IP, PPPoE, BPA or PPTP. For example, if set to Client, the firewall is configured to obtain an IP address dynamically from the ISP. Indicates if the WAN port is connected or not. The IP address used by the Internet (WAN) port of the firewall. If no address is shown, the firewall cannot connect to the Internet. The IP Subnet Mask being used by the Internet (WAN) port of the firewall. Gateway address of the WAN port. DNS server IP address of the WAN port. Secondary DNS server IP address of the WAN port (if not assigned, it will be the same as the primary DNS server). The protocol on the WAN port used to obtain the WAN IP address. This field can show DHCP Client, Fixed IP, PPPoE, BPA or PPTP. For example, if set to Client, the firewall is configured to obtain an IP address dynamically from the ISP. The MAC address used by the Internet (WAN) port of the firewall. These parameters apply to the Local (WAN) port of the firewall.
