Recording and Viewing Movies Movie Mode Follow the instructions below to shoot movies with sound recorded via the built-in microphone. 1 Select T mode. • The maximum length of the movie that can be recorded is displayed in the monitor. 2 Press the shutter-release button to start recording. • A progress bar at the bottom of the monitor shows the amount of recording time remaining. • To end recording, press the shutter-release button again. • Recording will end automatically when the internal memory or memory card is full. 28s j Recording Movies • The flash (c 24) and self-timer (c 26) can not be used in movie mode. Macro close-up (c 27) can be used while movies are being recording. • Digital zoom (up to 2×) can be applied while movies are being recorded. Adjust zoom before beginning recording. Once recording begins, optical zoom cannot be adjusted. l Settings for Movie Mode The movie options and the auto-focus mode option can be set in the movie mode (c 50, 51). 49 Recording and Viewing Movies

Recording Movies
