Functions That Cannot Be Used Simultaneously Some functions cannot be used with other menu options. Restricted function Option Description Flash mode Continuous (E48) Blink proof (E51) When a setting other than Single is selected, the flash cannot be used. When Blink proof is set to On, the flash cannot be used. Self-timer Smile timer (E50) When Smile timer is selected, the self-timer cannot be used. Digital zoom Continuous (E48) When Multi-shot 16 is selected, digital zoom cannot be used. Image mode Continuous (E48) When Multi-shot 16 is selected, the Image mode setting is fixed at L (image size: 2560 × 1920 pixels). White balance When Black-and-white, Sepia, or Cyanotype is Color options (E49) selected, the White balance setting is fixed at Auto. Continuous Self-timer (E14) When the self-timer is used, the setting changes to Single. Motion detection Flash mode (E11) Continuous (E48) When the flash fires, Motion detection is disabled. When Multi-shot 16 is selected, Motion detection is disabled. Shutter sound Continuous (E48) When a setting other than Single is selected, the shutter sound is disabled. Reference Section E19
