End log Save log Erase log Reference Section B Notes on Log Recording • If the date and time are not set, the log cannot be recorded. • Use a fully charged battery to prevent the camera from turning off during log recording. When the battery power becomes exhausted, loge recording ends. • Log recording ends due to the operation below even when there is time remaining for log recording. - The USB cable is connected. - The battery-chamber/memory card slot cover is opened or closed. - Record GPS data in GPS options is set to Off (same as when Reset all is performed). - The setting of the internal clock (time zone or date and time) is changed. • If time for log recording still remains even when the camera is turned off, log recording is continuously performed until the preset time has elapsed. • The log data is temporarily stored in the camera. New logs cannot be recorded if the log data remains in the camera. After recording log data, save it to a memory card. • A maximum of 36 log data events can be recorded in one day. • A maximum of 100 log data events can be saved to a single memory card. C To Erase Log Data • To erase the log data that is temporarily stored in the camera, select Erase log in step 4. • To erase the log data that is stored in the memory card, press the l button in View log (E73). Notes on Log Recording
If the date and time are not set, the log cannot be recorded.
