B Notes About Digital Zoom • Digital zoom cannot be used in the following situations. - When the scene mode is x (scene auto selector), X (night landscape), S (night portrait), W (backlighting) with HDR set to On, Portrait, Easy panorama or Pet portrait - When smart portrait mode is selected - When Continuous (E34) is set to Multi-shot 16 in A (auto) mode - When AF area mode (E38) is set to Subject tracking in A (auto) mode • When digital zoom is in effect, Metering (E33) is set to Center-weighted or spot metering (where the center of the frame is metered) depending on the magnification of an enlargement.
