Problem Cause/Solution A Digital zoom cannot be used. • Digital zoom is set to Off or Crop in the setup menu. • Digital zoom cannot be used in the following situations. - When the scene mode is x (scene auto selector), X (night landscape), S (night portrait), W (backlighting) with HDR set to On, Portrait, Easy panorama or Pet portrait - When smart portrait mode is selected - When Continuous in the shooting menu is set to Multi-shot 16 - When AF area mode in the shooting menu is set to Subject tracking • Other functions that restrict the use of digital zoom are set. 78, E70 33 40 57, E34 57, E38 59 Image mode not available.
