Cause/Solution • The flash mode is set to W (off). • The flash window is blocked. • The subject is beyond the range of the flash. • Adjust exposure compensation. • Increase ISO sensitivity. • The subject is backlit. Set the scene mode to W (backlighting) with HDR set to Off, or set the flash mode to X (fill flash).
