To use
manual focus:
Close-Ups
Minimum focus distance varies with zoom position.
At some zoom positions, the
camera may be unable to focus at very short distances (the
end of the manual focus
display).
If the camera is unable to focus at the current zoom position, the manual
focus display will turn red.
Focus Lock
Focus can not be locked using the AE/AF-L button in manual focus mode.
