e3: Flash Cntrl for Built-in Flash G button ➜ A Custom Settings menu Choose the flash mode for the built-in flash. Option Description r TTL Flash output is adjusted automatically in response to shooting conditions. s Manual Choose the flash level. The camera does not emit monitor pre-flashes. t Repeating flash The flash fires repeatedly while the shutter is open, producing a strobe-light effect. u Commander mode Use the built-in flash as a master flash controlling remote optional flash units in one or more groups (0 303). ❚❚ Manual Choose a flash level between Full and 1/128 (1/128 of full power). At full power, the built-in flash has a Guide Number of 12/39 (m/ft, ISO 100, 20 °C/68 °F). ❚❚ Repeating Flash The flash fires repeatedly while the shutter is open, producing a strobe-light effect. Press 4 or 2 to highlight the following options, 1 or 3 to change. Option Output Times Frequency Description Choose flash output (expressed as a fraction of full power). Choose the number of times the flash fires at the selected output. Note that depending on shutter speed and the option selected for Frequency, the actual number of flashes may be less than selected.
