Get started Get started Insert the SIM card and battery Safe removal. Always switch the device off and disconnect the charger before removing the battery. 1. Remove the back cover. 4. Align the battery contacts with the battery compartment connectors, and insert the battery. 2. Remove the battery, if inserted. 5. Replace the back cover. 3. Pull out the SIM card holder, and insert the SIM card. Insert the memory card Ensure that the contact area on the card is facing down and that the bevelled corner on the card is facing the 14 bevelled corner on the holder. Push the SIM card holder back in. A memory card may already be inserted in the device. If not, do the following:
