Overview of the functions of the phone s WAP (Wireless Application Protocol) You can access various WAP services such as banking, news, weather reports and flight times. These services are specially designed for mobile phones and they are maintained by WAP service providers. Check the availability of WAP services, pricing and tariffs with your network operator and/or the service provider whose service you wish to use. Service providers will also give you instructions on how to use their services. See WAP services (Menu 13) on page 89. s JavaTM applications Your phone supports JavaTM technology and includes some Java applications that have been specifically designed for mobile phones. You can download additional applications up to 30kB each to your phone from a PC with a Nokia Application Installer or from WAP services. See Applications (Menu 6) on page 71.
