19 Frequently asked questions (FAQ) This section lists and answers the questions that you most frequently ask. Where necessary, the answers refer you to the appropriate section within this guide. Some of the answers tell you to use menu shortcuts. For a complete listing of these shortcuts, refer to "List of menu shortcuts" on page 28. Q. How do I lock my phone? A. Press Menu 4-7-1, press Select, enter your PIN code, and press OK. Scroll to On and press OK. Refer to "About Access codes" on page 116 for details. Q. How do I unlock my phone? A. Press Menu 4-7-1, press Select, enter your PIN code, and press OK. Scroll to Off and press OK. Refer to "About Access codes" on page 116 for details. Q. What is my lock code? A. The lock code enables you to lock your phone, thus preventing someone else from using it. The default lock code is 1234 (depending on your service provider). However, you should change this code immediately. Refer to "About Access codes" on page 116 for details. Q. What is my security code? 19 A. The default security code is 12345. However, it is suggested that you change this code immediately. Certain features can be used only after the correct security code has been successfully entered.
