Update software using your PC Nokia Software Updater is a PC application that enables you to update your device software. To update your device software, you need a compatible PC, broadband internet access, and a compatible USB data cable to connect your device to the PC. To get more information and to download the Nokia Software Updater application, go to www.nokiausa.com/softwareupdate, or in Latin America, www.nokialatinoamerica.com/nsu. Hearing aid compatibility With the latest software, your cellular phone supports hearing aid compatibility. Your device complies with FCC rules governing hearing aid compatibility and meets M3 and T3 ratings. For additional information on the M-value, see the Medical devices section of this user guide. This device includes a setting for direct connection to telecoil-equipped hearing aids. When both the telecoil hearing aid (T switch) and the phone telecoil are activated, using the device with the aided ear will provide a direct connection for audio through your hearing aid. The quality of sound depends on the type of hearing aid used. You should test the device with the telecoil setting activated to determine whether your audio performance improves. Using the telecoil hearingaid setting consumes additional battery power.
