Settings (menu 4) Using the Menu Call Settings Automatic Redial When the Automatic Redial function (menu 4-1-1) is set on, your phone will make up to ten attempts to connect the call after an unsuccessful call attempt. Speed Dialling When the Speed Dialling function (menu 4-1-2) is set on, the names and phone numbers assigned to the speed dial keys to can be dialled by pressing and holding the corresponding number key. Note: Pressing and holding dials your voice mailbox number, not the speed dial number assigned to the key. Call Waiting Options When this network service is activated (menu 4-1-3), the network will notify you of a new incoming call while you have a call in progress. Own Number Sending This network service allows you to set whether your phone number is hidden or displayed to the person you are calling (menu 4-1-4). Preset resets the phone to the default setting, On or Off, that you have agreed upon with your service provider. Automatic Answer This setting is available only when the phone is connected to the CARK-91 car kit or HDC-9 headset. When this setting is On, your phone is set to automatically answer an incoming call after one ring.
