The SHADING compensation function compensates by increasing brightness at the dark edge of the image. Especially when a wide-angle lens is used, this function is able to work effectively. To enable the function, in the Camera 2 menu, select CHADING COMP., select ON, and then press the OK button. NOTES: ● -- This function is not available when a teleconverter or inner tube extension is attached ● to the camera. -- At higher ISO settings, noise at image edges may be conspicuous. ● -- The function is not avaialble when the record mode is set to RAW or RAW+JPEG. ● ANTI-SHOCK This dimishes camera shake caused by vibrations when the mirror moves. You can ● select the interval from the time the mirror is raised until the shutter is released. To use this function, in the Camera 2 menu, select ANTI-SHOCK and then OFF. ● Next, press the up or down arrow button to select the interval (from 1 to 30 seconds).
