ISO standards specify the sensitivity for digital cameras and film, thus codes such as "ISO 100" are used to represent sensitivity. In the ISO setting, although smaller values result in less sensitivity, sharp images can be taken under fully lit conditions. Larger values result in higher sensitivity, and images can be taken at fast shutter speeds even under dimly lit conditions. However, high sensitivity introduces electrostatic noise into the resulting picture, which may give it a grainy appearance. Submenu 2 Application AUTO The camera automatically adjusts the sensitivity according to the shooting scene. The camera uses a higher HIGH ISO AUTO sensitivity compared to [AUTO] to minimize blur caused by a moving subject or by camera shake. 64/100/200/400/ The ISO (sensitivity) setting is 800/1600 fixed by manually selecting it.
