Getting Started Connections Basic Playback CD PLAY 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 +10 0 REMOTE CONTROLLER RC-417DV CD Using the DVD Changer as CD player Since your DV-C501 allows you to insert up to five discs in any combination (DVD video discs, Video CDs, audio CDs), there may be times when you only want to listen to music and avoid having to press the DISC SKIP / or DISC +/ - buttons several times to skip to the next audio CD. In that case, proceed as follows: 1 CD PLAY Press the CD PLAY button while the DVC501 is stopped or playing back a CD. The RPT message appears on the display and the REPEAT indicator lights to signal that all audio CDs will be repeated in sequence. The indication changes in 2-3 seconds. CD PLAY Press the CD PLAY button again to cancel CD Mode. The RPT message disappears and the REPEAT indicator goes dark again to signal that the DVD Changer has returned to normal playback mode. Notes: • The CD PLAY button does not work while the DV-C501 is playing back a disc other than an audio CD. You first need to press the STOP button. Next, press the CD PLAY button to enter CD PLAY Mode. The DVD Changer starts playing back the audio CD in the disc drawer with the lowest number. • Another way of selecting only audio tracks is to take advantage of the DV-C501's Memory function.
