Improving FM reception When FM broadcasts reception is poor, set the receiver to the mono reception mode. 1. Press BAND to select "FM MONO". Frequency step setting (Australian models) If you find that you can't tune into stations successfully, the frequency step may not be suitable for your country/region. In such a case, select a frequency step suitable for your region. 1. Set the unit to standby mode. 2. While pressing and holding the TUNING button of the main unit, press the ON/STANDBY button to turn the unit on.
