CHAPTER 12 Using Palm™ Photos Palm™ Photos enables you to capture, view, and manage photos on your handheld or on an expansion card. Use Palm Photos to do the following: s Take photos directly on your handheld. s Locate photos quickly with the Thumbnail and List views. s Organize photos into albums. s Play a slide show of your photos. s Sort photos by name or date. s View details for each photo. s Keep track of your thoughts about a photo by entering notes. s Exchange photos with other devices that use infrared or e-mail communication. (The e-mail application from the Software Essentials CD-ROM and an e-mail account are required for e-mail communication.) s Use Palm™ Desktop software and HotSync® technology to transfer photos to your handheld, to copy and paste photos into popular computer applications, and to send photos as e-mail attachments or to other applications. To open Palm Photos: s Press the Palm Photos application button on the front panel of your handheld. Palm Photos opens to display the most recently viewed screen. Palm Photos button TIP Press the Palm Photos application button repeatedly to cycle through your photo albums. 127
