Reclining The Chair, How To Extend The Legrest, Leaning Back

RECLINING THE CHAIR First read, and familiarize yourself with, the safety precautions. To avoid possible tipping of the chair, do not sit, or lean, on backrest while chair back is in a reclined position. The angle of the chair back can be changed so the body weight and the massage heads will work together to determine the strength of the massage. Try changing the angle of the chair back to find a comfortable massage at a strength that is most suitable for your own comfort. Towels may be used in conjunction with the back cushion to lessen intensity, if desired. Leaning back 1 Press and hold While the button is held pressed, the legrest will extend and the backrest will recline. NOTE: Position the chair at least 17 3/4 in. (45 cm) away from any wall to ensure adequate reclining space. 2 127˚ 170˚ Release the button when the desired position has been reached. 80˚ Returning back to upright after reclining Press and hold The legrest will be returned to its normal position (store) and the backrest will be raised. After use, always be sure to return the legrest and backrest to their normal positions (legrest stored and backrest raised). HOW TO EXTEND THE LEGREST Grasp the lever. To extend: Tilt the lever back. Tilt the lever back as far as it will go. To store: Lift the lever. When extending or storing the legrest, lift your legs off of the legrest and operate the lever. NOTE: Leg lever Keep children and pets away from the massage lounger, when lowering the legrest, to prevent injury. Although the legrest is moved automatically according to the movement of the Massage Lounger backrest during reclining, the legrest can also be raised and lowered independently using the side lever. The maximum height (angle) of the legrest when using powered reclining and when using the side lever may vary slightly. The legrest cannot be stored completely if the Massage Lounger backrest is not raised completely. (The same condition occurs for lever operation.) Be careful of the lever during powered reclining. It will move automatically. Since the legrest will be locked in position when it is raised using the side lever, it cannot be lowered using the reclining buttons. Always use the side lever to lower it if it has been raised using the side lever. 16

HOW TO EXTEND THE LEGREST
First read, and familiarize yourself with, the safety precautions.
To avoid possible tipping of the chair, do not sit, or lean, on backrest while chair back is in a reclined position.
The angle of the chair back can be changed so the body weight and the massage heads will work together to
determine the strength of the massage.
Try changing the angle of the chair back to find a comfortable massage at a strength that is most suitable for
your own comfort.
Towels may be used in conjunction with the back cushion to lessen intensity, if desired.
Grasp the lever.
To extend: Tilt the lever back.
To store: Lift the lever.

Returning back to upright after reclining
Press and hold
The legrest will be returned to its normal position (store) and the backrest will be raised.
After use, always be sure to return the legrest and backrest to their normal positions (legrest stored and
backrest raised).
NOTE
: Position the chair at least 17 3/4 in. (45 cm) away from any wall to ensure adequate reclining space.

Press and hold
