Volume is reduced to minimum. To cancel Press [MUTING] again or reduce the volume to minimum (- - dB), then raise it to the required level. Muting is also canceled when you switch the unit to standby. Turning off the display The display and all indicators, except for the AC supply indicator, are turned off for better television viewing. Press [SHIFT]i[FL DISPLAY]. . To cancel Press [SHIFT]i[FL DISPLAY] again. Timer functions The SLEEP timer can turn the unit off after a set time and the WAKE timer can turn it on. You can use only one timer at a time. Preparation Select the desired source. ≥Disc Press [DVD/CD] to display "DVD/CD", and insert an Audio CD, etc. ≥The radio Press [TUNER/BAND] to select "FM" or "AM" and tune in the desired station. 1 Press [TIMER] to select the timer. Each time you press the button: SLEEP -----. WAKE -----. OFF n 2 Within 5 seconds, Press and hold [TIMER] and release when the timer you require is displayed.
