Image stabilizer function Optical Image stabilizer can stabilize the image without decreasing the image quality. ¬ Change the mode to . Recording with the video light [SDR-S71] The video light enables brightening of the images taken in a dimly-lit place. ¬ Change the mode to . LIGHT/ Optical image stabilizer button Pressing the button changes the optical image stabilizer setting. OFF : Active mode This setting gives more stabilization and is suitable for recording when walking. : ON This setting is suitable for recording in a stable state such as scenery. Light/Delete button [LIGHT/ ] Each time the button is pressed, the indication changes by one setting in the following order. # / # Setting canceled : Always on. /: Turns on/off automatically according to brightness of the surroundings. ≥ Lights up when the lens cover is closed. ≥ Stabilization may not be possible under strong shaking. ≥ When a tripod is used, we recommend that you turn the image stabilizer off. ≥ Auto video light will turn on/off in conjunction with Low light mode in Intelligent Auto Mode. ≥ When the motion picture light is in use, the recordable time when using the battery is shortened. ≥ The subject should be within 1.2 m (4 feet) of the unit. ≥ Using the Color night rec function at the same time will make conditions even brighter. ≥ If you turn off the power or change the mode, the video light is turned off. 48 VQT3E42
