Cleaning ●Remove the battery and disconnect the AC adaptor. ●Do not use benzene, thinner, alcohol, etc. (These substances can cause deformation and peeling.) ●Wipe off fingerprints and dust with a soft dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, soak a cloth in water, wring it out well, and use it to wipe the dirty surfaces. Then wipe the surfaces with a dry cloth. ●Use chemically treated tissues in accordance with warnings and indications. Waterproof/dustproof The waterproofing and dustproofing of this unit comply with IP58 of IEC 60529 "Degrees of protection provided by enclosures (IP Code)". It is capable of photography underwater at a depth of 2.0 m (6.5 feet) for up to 30 minutes. (This means that the unit can be used underwater when handled as stipulated by Panasonic, for the specified duration, and at the specified water pressure. It is not guaranteed that the unit will not be damaged or malfunction.) Shockproof This product has passed drop tests from a height of 1.2 m (4 feet) in conformance with "MIL-STD 810F Method 516.5-Shock," but this does not guarantee that the unit will not incur damage, nor malfunction, or be waterproof under all conditions.
