It is capable of photography underwater at a depth of 2.0 m (6.5 feet) for up to 30 minutes. (This means that the unit can be used underwater when handled as stipulated by Panasonic, for the specified duration, and at the specified water pressure. It is not guaranteed that the unit will not be damaged or malfunction.) Shockproof This product has passed drop tests from a height of 1.2 m (4 feet) in conformance with "MIL-STD 810F Method 516.5-Shock," but this does not guarantee that the unit will not incur damage, nor malfunction, or be waterproof under all conditions.
