Settings System control connection You can operate this unit and Technics devices supporting system control function (Network Audio Player, Compact Disc Player, etc.) simultaneously with ease on the remote control. For details, refer to the operating instructions of each device. Network Audio Player, etc. System connection cable Coaxial digital cable (not supplied)* Using system connection cable and audio cable 1 Disconnect the AC power supply cord. 2 Connect this unit and Technics device supporting system control function (Network Audio Player, etc.). • Use both of the system connection cable and the audio cables when connecting this unit and the device. • Use the system connection cable supplied with the connected device. 3 Connect the AC power supply cord to this unit. ( 15) 4 Press [AMP ] to turn this unit on. 5 Press [AMP]. 6 Press [SETUP]. 7 Press [ ], [ ] repeatedly to select "System Control" and then press [OK]. 8 Press [ ], [ ] to select the input source for the device which is connected at step 2, and press [OK]. • Select "Off" to disable the system control function. *: The illustration shows the example when connecting with coax digital cable. Connect the device with proper cable/terminal supporting the device. Note • When using the system control function by connecting the Technics device to the LINE2 IN terminal of this unit, select "LINE2" ( 19) for the input setting of the analog audio input terminals (LINE2 IN/MAIN IN) of this unit. • When using this unit as power amplifier ( 20), the system control function for the Technics device connected to the MAIN IN terminals is disabled. 28 (28)

the system control function for the Technics
device connected to the MAIN IN terminals is
disabled.
