NEW CONTACT To add a new number to your Contact List: Using this submenu, the number is saved as a new Contact. To save the number into an existing Contact, edit the Contact entry. 1. Slide the phone up, press the Key [MENU], then press 1. Contacts, 1. New Contact. 2. In the Name field, enter a name for the Contact. To change the input mode, press the Left Soft Key [Abc], select the desired option, and press the Key. 3. Press the Directional Key down to enter information in other fields for the contact. Fields include: Name / Mobile 1 / Home / Business / Mobile 2 / Fax / Personal Email / Business Email / IM Screen Name / Pic/Video / Ringtone / Message Tone / Group / Home Address / Work Address / Company / Title / Birthday / Notes 4. Press the Key [SAVE] to create the contact entry. You can save five contacts into the SIM with fields of name and phone number. When you save contacts, these are copied into SIM by choice. You can't only save the contact into SIM but you can edit the contact in VZW SIM card. Please refer to page 53. CONTACT LIST You can review all the entries stored in your Contact List or quickly find an entry by entering a name or its character string in the Go To field. 1. The list of names in your contacts is displayed alphabetically. 52 The default setting is set to Messages. This option won't be visible unless you change the setting. 2. New Contact: Add a new contact to your contact list. 2. Erase: Deletes the contact from your contact list. 04 3. New Message: Y ou have the option to send aTXT, Picture,Video orVoice Message. 4. Send IM: Allows you to send an IM message to the contact. Only available when an 05 IM Screen Name is set for the contact. 5. Send Email: A llows you to send an Email message to the contact. Only available when 06 an Email address is set for the contact. 07 6. Set As ICE Contact: Set as an emergency contact. 7. Call: Dial the contact. 8. Copy & Move: Allows you to copy or move contacts with the following options: Contacts in SIM: 1. Move to Phone / 2. Copy to Phone Contacts in Phone: 1. Move to SIM / 2. Copy to SIM 9. Manage Contacts: Allows you to manage your contacts with the following options: 1. Erase / 2. Lock / 3. Unlock / 4. Copy to Card 10. Show Contacts in: Allows you to see contacts in with the following options: 1. Phone & SIM / 2. Phone Only / 3. SIM Only If the SIM Card is not installed in your phone in Only SIM mode, the following message will appear on the LCD screen "NOT AVAILABLE PLEASE INSERT SIM CARD". 11. Send Name Card: Allows you to send a name card via TXT Message, Picture Message, Video Message, Voice Message or Via Bluetooth®. 4. To dial the selected number, press the Right Soft Key [Options], select Call and press the Key or press the SEND Key to place a call. 523
