Flash effective ranges g REWINDING THE FILM IN MID-ROLL Depress the mid-roll rewind button ( ) with the protruding part 0 of the strap clamp. Check that "0" is blinking before removing the film from the camera. la TAKING PICTURES WITH VARIOUS EXPOSURE MODES 10-1. EXPOSURE MODES Open the lens protector and press the AF/Selltimer button (6 AF ) to select exposure mode. 1. Single-frame photography (no icon displayed) This mode is set by simply opening the lens protector. Even if the shutter release button is held down, only one picture is taken. 2. Self-timer photography (6) Use of a tripod is recommended. The picture will be taken 10 seconds after the shutter button is pressed. Press the shutter release button halfway down, confirm the green lamp is lit and press the shutter release button fully. The self-timer is engaged and the self-timer lamp lights. The picture will be taken approximately 3 seconds after the self-timer lamp starts to blink. To cancel the operation before it is completed, press the Self/AF button (6 AF). 3. Remote control photography ( o ) (Using optional remote control unit) The self-timer lamp blinks slowly and the camera is in remote control mode. Press the shutter release on the remote control unit. The self-timer lamp will blink rapidly and the picture will be taken after approximately 3 seconds. 4. Infinity-Landscape photography (Ai) Use this mode to take a distant landscape or distant subject through a window. 5. Spot AF mode (SPOT AF) Use this mode to focus on a specific subject. Focus on the subject with the center of the AF frame. • Closing the lens protector cancels the mode and returns the camera to singleframe mode.
