40 1OFRDINARY PHOTOGRAPHY A k7) I 44$ 6 5 When the power is switched on by depressing the main switch button, the camera automatically selects the Auto and Single-Frame Shooting modes and the exposure counter indication remains on as shown above. These modes are used for taking ordinary pictures. The built-in flash will discharge automatically when the subject is poorly illuminated or backlit. • When the LCD panel display is different from the one shown above (which indicates the other modes are set), switching power OFF and then ON restores the Auto and Single-Frame Shooting modes. • When the built-in flash automatically discharges, the camera uses a shutter speed in the range from approx. I/40th (wide-angle) to 1/60th sec. (teleposition) when ISO100 film is used. 12
