FOCUS-LOCK TECHNIQUE 2 ti If the subject you wish to focus on is out of the Autofocus Spot as shown above, it will be out of focus and only the background will be in focus. You can avoid this problem by using the focus-lock technique in the following order. 18 I ( 1. Bring the Autofocus Spot on the main subject. 2. As you depress the shutter button halfway, the Green Lamp in the viewfinder will light up or flicker, locking the focus on the subject temporarily. • As long as you keep depressing the shutter button halfway and the Green Lamp is lit or keeps flickering, the focus lock is maintained. The focus will be unlocked as soon as you release your finger from the shutter button.

you

it
will
be
out
of
focus
and

the

be

You
can

the
focus
-lock
technique
