74 Selecting the focus points There are 11 focus points in the autofocus frames. You can select the focus points to use depending on the scene you are shooting. Setting the focus point mode to AUTO The camera selects the optimum focus point position even if the subject is not centered. 1 4 Set the focus point select dial to 5. The area in the autofocus frame is the range available for autofocus. Shooting Functions • The focused point is superimposed in red in the viewfinder when the shutter release button is pressed halfway down. The superimpose function can be canceled using a custom function.
