CHECKING THE BATTERY (Fig.4) Conditions of the battery in camera can be checked at each power on the LCD panel. 1. The battery mark is displayed as the battery is in good condition. 2. The battery mark is displayed as the battery is near exhausted. • Replace the battery as soon as possible. 3. The battery mark is displayed as the battery power is too low. All camera functions are locked. The battery has to be replaced with new one. HOLDING YOUR CAMERA • Always use both hands to steady your camera. (Fig.7-1) • When holding the camera vertically always position it with the flash at the top. (Fig.7-2) • Be careful not to place your fingers over the lens, flash or focusing windows. (Fig.7-3) AUTOMATIC FILM SPEED SETTING When a film cartridge is loaded, the proper film speed is automatically set for the camera. • A film speed ISO rating 100, 200, and 400 can be used. 13
