Automatic Needle Threader Selecting Correct Thread/Needle Combination The combination of the thread weight and the needle size is extremely important when using the automatic needle threader. Unsuitable combinations, such as using a heavy weight thread for a fine needle, may cause damage to the needle threader. Avoid using fine needles with heavy fabrics to reduce the risk of bending the needle. Using the automatic needle threader with a bent needle may cause damage to the needle threader.
