18 English Cleaning and storage Caution: Never immerse the device in water and do not rinse it under the tap. 1 Wipe the surface of the device with a cloth. -- Use a dry cloth to wipe dust off the surface of the device. -- Use a slightly damp cloth to wipe dirt off the surface of the device. Dry the surface with a dry cloth after cleaning. Caution: Do not use propellant, abrasive or other chemicals to clean the device in order to avoid discoloration or malfunction of the scale. 2 Store the device in a dry, dust-free place away from direct sunlight or other heat sources.
